i already loved it when i played through the first time, but i literally got an itch to replay akira and akechi's route again because i knew it would likely be a LONG while if at all we'd get an update.

The fact that there was a Maruki side thing in Akira's route got me so excited.

I don't typically play a lot of fan games and it's been a long time since a game excited me as much as this one did. This was SO MUCH FUN TO PLAY even without looking at walkthroughs (something i purposefully avoided.) I loved this game, worth all the nights I spent not sleeping on

Usually after reading other people's comments, I conclude that they've said what I want to say and that I don't need to say anything, but if there's one thing that Akechi's Moon route has taught me, it's that speaking up is okay and maybe even encouraged.

I became a fan of Persona when I was a teenager myself, I've played every version of P5 that I could find, and weirdly, never looked for a visual novel version before. Yesterday, I decided to just put 'visual novel' into the search bar on Itch and scroll. I grabbed some things that sounded interesting here and there, and then I saw it.

Persona 5: Visual Novel.

The second I saw the screenshots, I was beyond excited. But I didn't realise how much it would feel like the game until I actually started playing. There isn't a single detail missing. From the pop up phone to the dagger in the dates, to the train animations, the weather in the corner, it really truly feels like playing the original game. But of course, in the original game, we're Akira or Ren, which is nice, but doesn't allow for a chance to get to know the Phantom Thieves beyond being their leader. I'm not kidding, I genuinely gasped when I saw Ren for the first time. Getting to actually talk to him had me giggling and beaming. The entire interaction set with the Phantom Thieves is just brilliant, they feel so authentic. I adore that you included the actual animated sprites of all of the characters, the transitions between screens, the sounds, the music-

All of it is just SO GOOD.

Naturally I picked Moon first because I'm somewhat of an introvert, but knowing that there's an alternate path with Goro on the Sun route, I'm going for that next. I got the good ending on my first try and I'm not emotionally prepared for the bad ending so I think I'll move on to Ren once I (hopefully) get the good ending in the Sun route.

When the credits music came, I teared up a bit, because honestly, that felt like playing an actual Persona game. I cannot express enough how fantastic the experience is. So much love and support to the team, and whether the game gets updated or not, I'm beyond glad I get to play what already exists. ♥

Edit: Okay, I just looked at that again and there's only the Moon Route for now. Well, that's fine, I can wait. :3

WHOOOOO! I just had to come and share my thoughts. I only finished the Moon Routes that there were guides for because otherwise, I WOULD DIE (literally and repeatedly). Obviously, I had a great time! How the MC in Akechi's Moon Route couldn't help but want to be friends, and how Akira's Moon Route MC had a justifiable (by my POV) crash out. I, like others, seem to have read wrong and thought there was a poly route, but I don't think so - and that's fine! Seeing the reused images and crowds from the actual game was fun - though I wish the fanart were also sourced in the CGs (I wanted to know who did what)! Akechi's Bad Ending, where ... spoiler-y things more than death happened...was somewhat confusing, but I've read enough fanfic to know when to just roll with it. Overall, I had a great time and will likely revisit this game!

Not sure if this game is still in development, but I absolutely adore what's available at present. Ren's moon route was heartwarming and cute and Akechi's was an outright emotional rollercoaster, both great in their own right and for different reasons. I'd love to see Ann's routes eventually. If the dev(s) see this, thank you for the love you've put into this project!!

All the moon endings made me feel so bittersweet, and it was so good... I really enjoyed it<3 my fav persona fangame ever

i'm genunely asking anyone to teach me how can i delete the old saved data in my current game since i want to start playing the game like new , plus if there's a spesefic game that got new content but you have your old game installed and it has a bunch of saved logs  , how can i delete the old saved data to update it into the new content ? 

Hi there!! I just wanted to comment and tell you how grateful I am for you creating this. I can see all the blood, sweat, and tears you poured into this and it amazes me. I remember trying to play with Renpy once and thought 'hm, too complicated.', so serious props with everything you managed to do with it.

Don't listen to the whiners, this kind of stuff takes lots of work and a burn out would be eventual. They should be grateful something this high quality was even released.

But more importantly, I want you to know that Akechi's route has given me serious inspiration. I have an OC similar to Moon MC in some ways and this game gave me a really good idea of just what kind of relationship their's could possibly be. At first I only had a vague idea, but playing this has got my creative juices flowing!!!

I absolutely love this game. I've grown to love and follow other persona series as a result of this game. It is disappointing to learn that Catherine will no longer be participating in this game. But I sincerely hope that the development of this game can still go forward.

Question, when you have Ryuji and Ann as routes, do you just mean story routes or romanceable routes 

I spent like almost 5 hours just sitting and playing this game. It's so fun, and I adore the finished routes so far. Sad that you (Catherine) won't be continuing working on it, but I will say you did an amazing job with what you've done thus far.

i finished the other bad end but can't seem to have the first bad end with the less 95 affection, can someone spoil it for me ? (anyways this is such a fun game, i hope you guys work on it soon!)

I've only played Akechi moon route but I can't wait to play Akira's and the rest when they're done! Really, there was so much effort put into this game, I can tell! And it's so long too. This game is so great! Thank you for your hard work!

I never got to play Persona 5 bcuz it costs money, so finding this game makes me really happy!!! I can't wait to see the finished result! 

Hi! I literally made an account just to make a message lmao. I just wanted to say that I really fell in love with this game! There was so much effort put into visuals and the stories kept me glued to my screen! I kept giggling during some of the parts of Akira and Akechis stories not only from cuteness but from how well put together it was! Great work! Cant wait to see more! (Unless y’all stopped or smth 😭)
