I love it! Anyway, I have a question. In Akechi's bad ending 2, who was with the dying MC? And what exactly did they say?
On their own routes, Ren or Akechi, they feel familiar to us, Ren even asked out. Especially on Akechi's route, it surprised me when he said: "I can definitely see you adopting a dog" (and I don't see the option "I don't think I would adopt either.":0000). Is it a surprise for the players? I love that! It makes me feel like they recognize and remember me as the player, in a way.
It was Goro! Fun fact, when the screen goes completely black, if you open the History menu you should be able to see the dialogue! But essentially it was the MC calling out Goro's name c:

im not familiar with the persona franchise but this is so well made! im surprised at the level dedication you put into this. i really resonated with the timid mc and the mysterious voice describing it only hammered how i present myself lmao. i dont know his name but i enjoyed this blond dude's route the last time i played this. i remember it starting off with the mc sleeping in a cafe and then suddenly were exercising. i was sad to see him not available yet but the other characters were fun to go through. i really do feel like im actually originally part of the story even thought i know nothing about it lmao
i feel bad at the start of the moon mc on akechi's route. i know it gets better through the end but mans was hella mean at the start and idk if i wanna go through his route with a moon mc.

Ah Ryuji! Yes, unfortunately the writer was changed for that route and we want to respect the previous writer's work so we had it scrapped. You should hopefully see him back on our next release!
Oh yes, I definitely wouldn't recommend Akechi's moon route if you're looking for something fluffy like Akira/Ren's moon route haha Akechi isn't a nice character and he's very complex - I'm not sure if you'll like him at all if you haven't played Persona 5 (especially the Royal version). Totally understandable, just skip the route if you don't think you'll enjoy it! :)
Ah, this game is so good, thank you so much for making it! The stylization, writing, game OST, it all makes me feel like I'm playing the actual game <3 if there was one thing I would change, and something I think this game desperately needs, is the ability to choose your protagonist's gender ^^; we have all these other customization options I think it would be good to have that as well! And it's incredibly immersion breaking whenever I'm referred to as "they", since that's not how I'm referred to in real life at all, and I like to self insert into these games when I can!! So if you were to change anything about the game, please have it be that, I beg you, haha! At the end of the day though this is just my opinion and I'm not sure how many people share it, but something to keep in mind maybe! Other than that, keep up the great work, this project is great!
Yes, the player customization is very minimal, I know. I wanted to focus on their personality being the main thing that shapes the MC. And also mostly because there's a lot of work being involved in creating other customizations, even for just the pronouns. I am the main scripter (+writer +coder +tester) across most routes, so all the scripting and testing for that will fall onto me, and I just didn't have the bandwith for that. We'll see into incorporating that when we have the time and resources though :
LOVE it! My favourite thing about this is that it's not some visual novel using characters and game setting but instead introduces your character into the main story of persona so it feels like you're part of their lives and the original game's story.
I want to thank you for this beautiful project you are doing, I always wanted to have a date with Ren Amamiya and I loved being able to talk with him, I know they are in beta but it makes you feel the same essence of Persona 5.
I know it is still on the making and there ius more to come. Even with better things but I will still comment on what I have enjoyed so far.
The writing is simply amazing and it makes me really happy that the MC/Y/N is very relatable in both Sun and Moon. The only thing that stings slightly is how in one of the CGs we are able to see "our" hand. A very light skin color- which sort of affects the self insert feeling(?). But that is just me being silly and picky.
I already finished Akira's/Ren's route and Oh my God, you got his character to the T. He is just how I always image. Dependable, trustworthy, flirty, a tease and most importantly... and adorable dork. Both happy endings made me feel so much, especially the first good ending(or was it the second??).

I swear, I can not be the only one that felt that subtle fourth wall break when that alternative universe happened. Because, in reality, we do not exist. In the Persona world, I mean. And it stings. And it is thanks to this fan game that we are able to be part of the experience. For as many times as we want. And Akira/Ren, surely needs that comfort in his life. I wonder if Atlus would ever give us that blessing chance-
Either way, the visual novel is so great so far and as I said at the beginning, it will turn even better and I am can wait for what you guys have in storage for everyone that is an avid fan of the franchise. That was one of the thing one of our writers pointed out actually. Dw, you're not being picky at all! We do want to have a player customization in the future so we can tackle this issue, but trust me when I say it requires a ton of work being done and as of now I don't think we have any resources for that 😥
Sobs I'm always so happy whenever people tell me that I got characterization right! Akira/Ren was so fun to write but sometimes I worry whether I made him too cheeky or too flirty... And it doesn't help that he's a silent protag in the game lol

Akira/Ren's bad ending isn't too bad, it's just... sad. I can describe it to you but tbh there are some things I just can't replicate in words, so I'll skip those I guess. Here goes:

Basically for the bad end, it's implied that Akira/Ren failed to negotiate with Sae and was actually shot in the head by Akechi (like in one of the original game's bad end). So right after the MC tried to visit LeBlanc, the scene cuts out and it's a fast forward to months later. MC is siting in a hospital waiting room, you get some short backstory of how the PT has basically disbanded (very vague implication that some are even dead). Afterwards, they fall asleep and when they wake up, they're in the doctor's room, and you'll see Maruki talking to you. The MC basically breaks down, tells him they can't do this anymore and want to stop the therapy sessions.... And if you guessed it, you're right. He uses his power to alter the reality so the MC won't be sad anymore. So MC wakes up in bed, at night, and sees Akira/Ren sleeping across them, thinks they're having nightmares again, but then as he wakes up they realize that it wasn't a dream. And now MC's convinced that all of it was just a long, bad nightmare, falls asleep against Akira/Ren, and the scene cuts to black....
Lastly, it shows Akira/Ren waking up, sitting on bed and looking around the room, and he even sees Mona across the room, who meowed at him. He then notices the MC being restless in their sleep and only relaxes when he holds them. It's never said in the game itself, but yes, in my head I think he's able to piece things together and understand the situation there. And then:
Akira/Ren: "....."
Akira/Ren: "I'm sorry."
"He's met with silence."
Akira/Ren: "I'm.... so sorry....."

This game is beautifully written; not to mention, I really feel like I’m playing persona 5 sometimes due to the way the assets were implemented. 10/10 immersion points! I played the demo a while back and fell in love with the idea. While I’m sad Ryuji was removed (rip…I know he’s still there don’t worry!) I loved everything new that was included. The characters ooze with personality. There was never a moment that threw me out of the narrative. I never had a “Futaba wouldn’t say that,” Kind of moment. Not only were the boys’ routes fun to play but the phantom thieves were always a pleasure to see. I also believe implementing the phantom points in Akechi’s moon route was clever as gives incentive for the player to care about the choice they make when interacting with the cast. I should probably actually talk about the love interests now, instead of analyzing the game like one would a school project.
I’ll start with the Akechi Moon route.
This route was fun because I questioned the whole time if the writer was going to kill off Akechi or not. While killing Akechi could lead to a beautiful bittersweet ending I’m actually quite happy the good ending let him live. The story allowed me to see a what if scenario where Akechi actually gets to go up against Shido. It might not be a scene that would fit well in the original game, but in this story he grows. It felt like that moment was an accumulation of all the work the player put in. Also the way Akechi acts towards the end of his route feels natural because of the well crafted shift in character. If I had one gripe I’d say that the ending of both the finished routes is kind of abrupt, almost like the last couple lines weren’t written for a conclusion. A minor nitpick really. Honestly though the whole route is so well done. I’m honestly just grateful for the team behind the project. You all are doing outstanding work.
This post is long so I’ll just talk about Akira’s moon route and call it good.
His route was so cute, the author breathed so much life into the protagonist. I understood why he had a harem of girls; he was made extremely charming. The whole Maruki segment of the route was also cool to see. That moment really gave Akira a reason to resist the world. Whereas in the original game he kinda just does/doesn’t. There isn’t to much of a real drive, juxtaposed to here. The Y/N character was also very adorable.I can see why she got the protagonist’s attention. Also, both Akechi and Akira were characters I liked moderately, but the routes made me appreciate them both way more.
Anyways this game is so fun thus far. I can’t wait to play the other routes! Keep up the good work! You guys are amazing!

sldfkjsldf one of the reasons I made this game was because I wanted him to be alive at the end, I don't think you'll ever see any bad endings where he ends up dead even if I decide to add more branches into it haha
YES tbh I struggled a lot with deciding how his route will develop because I wanted to keep him alive and have the chance to redeem himself, but still keep him in character somehow. I think that's partly why his route ended up longer than Akira/Ren's moon route, because you're absolutely correct - I needed the player to see that he's grown, that you had an impact on him, not instantly, but over time.
Let me tell you a secret... The endings were abrupt because I was actually planning to have epilogues lol I couldn't make it to the deadline tho, so I ended up releasing without them, but hopefully I'll be able to add them in sometime!
I hc Akira/Ren having maxed out Charm since his first day lol Yeah I think in the original game the fact that he's a silent & blank slate of a protag, just made for the player to self-insert into his position, can make some developments feel a bit 'huh?'... So I was glad to be able to explore and imagine how his personality is in this fangame heheh

I finally saw that this project was updated, and I'm really impressed with what's been published so far!
I haven't finished Akechi or Akira's moon routes yet but I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far. Akechi's character development in particular is extraordinary! I'm most excited for Yusuke's sun route in particular, since I'm always a sucker for personality clashes. His moon route is also really well done, and definitely a nice reprieve from the drama in the other moon routes lol.
I'm still surprised that two routes are already done, so I just wanted to reiterate how impressed I am by this entire project. This is one of the best VNs I've played in a while c:
Gosh yes, Yusuke's moon route is very relaxing, I think Rainy did a really good job with creating a cozy vibe there, tho I'm not sure if it'll change as the route develops 👀

Akechi's moon route is my favourite so far. The character development he went through in the good ending is really touching, and I'm so relieved he lives in that ending lol. The MC getting their own persona was such a satisfying moment, and Akechi's 3rd persona fit well into that as well. Normally I'd be more conflicted with a character like Akechi living since he doesn't develop in a way that would make him want to live in the main game. However, I think it does make a lot more sense within the route why he lives, and I'd actually find it less understandable if he did die. The banter with the other phantom thieves in his route is just so much fun as well, especially Futaba, Akira, and Yusuke.
I also realized I never complimented the UI before! It's obviously very similar to Persona 5's, but still very polished and clear to read.
I still haven't finished Akira's route though, so oof :c . I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far though! I'm especially excited and curious for the world route I've heard about lol.

Fair warning, this got a bit long and has no structure to it whatsoever but I really wanted to ramble about Akechi’s moon route since he’s my favourite character and I just love that silly evil little man 😅
Let’s get it started.
Knowing Akechi and all the emotional baggage he carries, I was prepared for his “good” ending to be a “bittersweet at best and depressing at worst” ending, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with how everything turned out; how honest Akechi was, both to himself and to MC, and how he pulled through in the end. He’s come such a long way, I’m proud of him! 😊
Akechi and MC can’t spend valentine's day together–or at least in person–but that’s somehow… okay? Getting better is a long and tiring process so it’s really heartwarming to see the both of them supporting each other while working on being the best versions of themselves they can be.
(At least Akechi didn’t fake his own death like in a certain other ending of a certain other game lol it would’ve been so heartbreaking to have to go through that again, for me anyway, so I’m glad MC got a happier ending than that)
MC’s persona awakening totally caught me off guard. I was expecting something like that to happen in Akira’s moon route actually, seeing as he was the one present for all other awakenings, but I guess it makes sense for Akechi’s route too. Oh and Akechi’s second awakening (during Shido’s boss fight I think?) was awesome too!
Also, I really love how MC is more of a support character with limited offensive capabilities. While Joker and Crow are amazing together with how they can bring carnage to their enemies–as shown in their shared showtime attack–there is something incredibly charming about a man and his dedicated support whom he protects from danger (focus the healer first, right?) on their way to conquer the world (not in a bad way lol)
Umm… Akechi eating his birthday cake(s) gifted to him by the closest person to a friend he’s ever had while crying? Peak character development right there 👆👆 Nah, but seriously, I felt so bad for him there like they were too sweet for him but he was so determined to continue eating 😢 nooo poor baby boy you don’t have to force yourself ;-;
The interactions between the thieves, the teasing, Futaba sending reaction memes in the group chat, Akechi writing an entire paragraph proving his weapon’s superiority over Haru’s axe, the whole “I’m not interested in your BDSM nonsense; and even if I were, it’d be between me and MC” exchange and especially Akira’s “Mmm, spicy” reply I COULD WRITE AN ENTIRE BOOK POINTING OUT MY FAVOURITE SCENES

I can’t believe it took me two whole playthroughs to finally get the “The moon is beautiful, isn't it?” line. And the way Akechi blushes after saying it 😳 this man will be the death of me I swear. There are other ways to say ‘I love you’ without actually saying ‘I love you’. I wonder if MC got it?
“Perhaps one day, he’ll be able to honestly tell you how grateful he is to have met you in that alleyway. Glad people don't find it cringe lol And Akechi's second awakening!! This isn't talked enough haha But I love the idea that he awakened his new persona because essentially it's a sign of his bond with MC and a solid proof that he finally trust MC wholeheartedly. I didn't get to explore this too much in the game, but the idea is that his new persona would be more of a defender than attacker, because it's a manifestation of him acknowledging that for once, he wants to be able to protect the people he cares about ;w;

So I just found this on a complete whim but I'm so happy I did. I just got the good ending with Moon Akechi's route as well as one of the bad endings and hoooooo boy my emotions were everywhere! It was so well written it could have easily passed as canon! Bless all of your souls for this. And even though it's not complete (at least to my knowledge) I'll be doing the sun route tomorrow to see what that ends up like

I'm doing the Moon route of Akira/Ren and I started dying when in the second ending (When you're eating curry and drinking hot chocolate at player's house) he says, "love you" and then the music cuts out 😂😭. It was so unexpected, I love it. It made me let out the ugliest laugh I have ever done lol. You guys did so amazing with his route, the writing and art is just so amazing. Thank you, guys, for this game. :)(also the secondhand embarrassment that I get kdhikvgr)

Okay, first of all, congrats on the release of the beta demo 🎉! It was a long wait, but sooo worth it! When I saw that the Moon routes of Akira and Goro were finished I was like "oh yeah, here's my Christmas gift!" lol.
I played Akira's route first because after what I read on the alpha demo, I needed more! And it didn't disappoint. The MC going to Akira to return his umbrella and that lead to a date it was spectacular! Akira teasing the MC were the best moments while playing his route, and the MC calling him out for that lol! It had soft moments and some angst in the middle, but I was honestly expecting more interactions between MC and the PT, but it was to be expected being Akira's significant other "it's dangerous so I have to leave you in the darkness". And the end, when Akira discovered that MC wasn't real and didn't exist in his world I was like "breaking the fourth wall, I see what you did there" lol. Their reencounter was just so beautiful! I place Akira's route on TOP 2 for now.
Because Goro's route was something else. I was expecting some heavy stuff, but Goro behaved somehow lol. I was surprised to see that he and the MC were "together" for a YEAR. Like, damn. Their moments were just so perfectly written and so well done. I don't remember much from Persona 5 because it's been so long since I played the game, but I know that I have seen Goro at it's BEST in this VN. You did a great job with his character and MC fits so well with the whole plot, even more than in Akira's. But why is Goro TOP 1? Well, of course because MC has such a great character development. And them awakening their Persona????!!! Like, that is soo cool! I was surprised to see that in Goro's route, but it made sense! How their relationship developed after the Persona awakening, Goro and MC's banter, the PT teasing them, AND THE ENDING??? OMG, it's such a masterpiece. While there's no confession or "I love you", it made sense. I love it that it ended in that way, because we know Goro is not ready for that yet.
So yeah, Goro holds the temporary TOP 1 position, unless the other routes win him over, lol!
And...THE WORLD ROUTE!!!!??? When I saw the card there I was like "it can't be!". I'm just thinking over here what kind of route would it be. Harem? Love triangle? Polyamorous? But I KNOW it's going to be amazing, can't wait for it!
The route that I can't wait for is Ann's. Like my girl also needs lots of love. And since my MC is a girl, I just can't wait for them two to just get together and be a power couple. So I just hope that her route is not left behind or overshadowed by Goro's and Akira's, because Ann deserves so much more! Sorry for the rant, lol! I also can't wait for the other routes!
In my honest opinion, I think Moon MC fits much more than Sun MC with the characters. Although I haven't seen much of Sun MC, I know for a fact that Goro's Moon route will always be top, lol. Moon MC awakening their Persona can't get any better lol!
Again, congrats and thanks for this amazing gift! The game also looks so good, I love the menus and the arcana cards! Keep it like this, because you guys are creating a masterpiece here, and I can't wait for when it gets finished. I genuinely can't wait for the next update, lol! XOXO

Akira being a tease and MC slowly getting used to it (but still getting flustered by it) is just so adorable tbh I wrote those in a very self-indulgent way hahah Overall I'm already satisfied even if people just completed one of the good end, but do check out the other good end and the bad end if you have time! More time with Akira is never a bad thing, yeah? :3
Writing Goro’s route was… so challenging but also so darn fun. I always knew that I wanted the MC to awaken their Persona somehow, but translating that into a VN format was a huge hurdle. Again, I’ve said this somewhere else and it still stands: I’m really proud of this route but at the same time very insecure about it bc I poured my heart into it… And therefore I’m incredibly happy to see people liking it!!
Ah, the World route… Heheh I have been kind of writing the scripts for it, but I still have no idea how the VN will turn out as of now. But I hope people will like it! If things go smoothly it should be different from the Sun/Moon routes in terms of gameplay, so we’ll see how it turns out… Fingers crossed!
I can’t wait to see Ann’s routes too!! I know how capable our writers for Ann’s routes are and I can only imagine the stuff they’ll be able to create for her… I will leave her in their hands, because I know they’ll do her justice :)
The Sun MC will have their own charms for sure! I think they’re currently being kind of overshadowed by the Moon MC because they have 2 completed routes already, but I think there are a lot of potential and things that are possible because they’re the Sun MC!! Again, I don’t really write for the Sun MC but the writers lineup for this route is really promising ;D
Still, I’m relieved people are loving the Moon MC! I was afraid they will get annoyed at them, but it’s nice to hear that people are relating to them and understanding their thinking & course of actions!

This is such a FANTASTIC fan game!! It mirrors the original extremely well, and the dialogue feels realistic to life, which is something I value a lot in visual novels! I played Ren's Moon route and me and the Protagonist were on the same wavelength. Me too girl - I am also inherently embarrassing and want to pass away at any minor social inconvenience. I cannot wait to see how this develops in the future!! Well done!

Oh boy how do I start, this demo is so good that made me doubt that this is a fangame. I'm very surprised how well written this game.
I have a rollercoaster experience when playing demo. The Sun and Moon route is very creative and unique. I love how fleshed out MC's personality is having its own mind and character. Keep it up, it's really interesting to read.
I first played the Moon-Ren route and this route seriously made my heart beating. It was a strange experience how I able to interact Ren since he's a silent protagonist in the OG game. I'm baffled how adorable and smooth this guy is. In the sun route I'm kinda confused with the letter thing in the beginning so it's still haven't left an impression on me.
Ryuji route was cute, but well, the moon route is a bit weird though as someone who didn't know you well suddenly ask you to do stretching in someone else room. But who cares, I find it funny.
Akechi route had me rolling as the game gives you a trigger warning at the beginning. Well, what are you expected to date with this psychopath, amirite (¬‿¬)? That aside, his route is also interesting. Making a yandere story sometimes a hit or miss thing. But I'm having some high hopes for his route since it gives a good start imo.
Overall? Based from the demo, it's a good fangame. My favorite is Moon-Ren route (i love his playful peronality). No wonder this guy has a harem route in the og game. It'll be funny if his route suddenly has a harem thing and then game over.

Moon-Ren has been a blast to write and I really hope people like how cozy it is. I think it basically turned more into a mainly-fluff route, which was what I originally aimed for, but I'm not sure how people will like it ^^' Ah, yeah the Sun route on the other had, is on its very beginning stages, so definitely look forward for more development on that!

For Moon-Akechi, yeah the yandere (and gore) theme will be a hit or miss depending on different people, but I think what we have right now, the 'yandere' is mostly implied? So it should be mostly ok for most people. Although I plan on expanding more on it in future releases *evil laugh*

Whether there will be a path for the MC to become one of the Phantom Thieves will depend on the writers in charge of that route, so unfortunately I can't promise 100% you'll be able to do that... BUT with that being said, we'll probably provide a walkthrough for any completed routes in the future, so dw about not being able to 'fully complete' the game or anything like that!

A very interesting game indeed. I'm interested in observing its development. The good writing and strong characterization were a very pleasant surprise, though some of the routes need work- I think it's very well made for a demo- and a free game at that.

In general I found this otome to be pretty entertaining despite it being only the alpha. Like many others before me have said already its very much so appreciated for the personality changes between the sun and moon arcana as I find it interesting to see how the dynamic shifts between the characters and the mc depending on which arcana is chosen. (And they so far feel all in character so mad probs to you) Oh yeah another appreciated aspect is having the option to choose whether to use Akira or Ren since different people prefer either one over the other (personally like Ren Amamiya because my mind immediately reads it as Ren Mamamiya and I can't help but chuckle)
Now to get into the specific routes themselves from the order I played them (I'll prolly write more when this gets updated):
Akira/Ren (Moon route): This route generally gives off a pretty homey feel. Its very chill and I like that about it. (Its prolly also good for MC) I can already tell this route is going to be mostly adorable fluff. (I really don't have much else to say for this route even though I liked it lol but if this route has a bad end its gonna huuuuurt)
Akechi (Moon route): Now to balance the scale from the adorableness of Moon Akira/Ren route we have THIS route oooo boy the warning was well warranted. Nothing like being held at gunpoint when all you wanted was to get on with your day😐.(Then again Mc might have jinxed it by lamenting their boredom) Anyways in the whole *ahem* interrogation sequence it seems like the best way to survive would be to ADAPT, IMPROVISE, OVERCOME and I'm guessing that's gonna be a consistent thing in this route. (I managed to go through this route unharmed the first time so....yay me???) Ooof well I definitely appreciate Moon Akira/Ren after this route.
Ryuji (Moon route): Ryuji Ryuji Ryuji oh you wholesome dumb boy. Gotta say the knife threw me for a loop but I can see him pulling that kinda stuff. And lol Akira/Ren just showing up like "Am I interupting something?" was great.
Akira/Ren (Sun route): Oh this route starts with a letter? Cool cool its different from the other routes. So I really like the little details in this route for example the little doodles on the side of letter like the rollercoaster when there is a section about MC having a rollercoaster of a life and later the city when there is a section about it. I don't know if the choices of paper and handwriting affects anything but even if its mostly just for flavor I like the addition of choices as it adds a personal touch to the letters.
Akechi (Sun route): This route lol "Detective Princess Ecchi" Hahaha and his reaction it's great. (But yknow....Princess is fitting😂) Ok so first meeting by helping with fangirls cool cool. Ah I see MC keeps up with current celebrity news as much as I do which is to say barely to never. Lol the realization at the end with the "oh...huh....yeah I probably should start watching tv every now and then" was perfect. ......Akechi is gonna get most of the bad ends isn't he?
So in conclusion I liked it and I look forward to updates (particularly the Moon Ryuji route and Sun Akechi route those were fun) but I also want to mention to be sure to not overload yourself on this and to balance like the scales in the Justice Arcana.

Akira/Ren (Moon route): omg YES the 'homey' and 'cozy' feel is what I wanted for this route and I'm so glad the player are getting this vibe too. And you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, there's gonna be lots of fluff. A sprinkle of angst might be there, but I PROMISE there'll be more fluff to top that.
The bad end though.... Uh. Uhhhhhh... There's no other way to put this, so I'll just say it....... I want it to hurt c:

Ryuji (Moon route): the first time I scripted in the knife scene it threw me off too, but seeing it plays out, it's definitely so Ryuji hahah Poor Akira/Ren is just there like 'uhhh wyd in my room?' XD
Akira/Ren (Sun route): Aaaaa you noticed the doodles!!! Yays!! Since he doodled in the calendar in the original game I thought it would be a nice addition if he does that too here! As of now the choices for paper and handwriting doesn't really affect the story, but I just thought it would be nice if the player's personality can shine through those ^^
Akechi (Sun route): Detective Princess Ecchi heheheh omg sometimes I feel like I went a little too crazy on this first scene but I'm glad people took it positively lol

I loved playing this and all routes (including Akechi's creepy Moon path, but especially Akira's! It felt really organic). The whole thing is such a good idea. I wish we could choose our velvet room attendant like in Persona's 3 female MC side, just for a bit of flavor text. I have no idea how you implemented the graphics so well but they look as good as in the game. I'm curious about how long this will be in the final version.

That's an interesting idea, but I don't know how it would affect the game necessarily, since the Velvet Room doesn't really appear after character selection. We'll see!
The sprites and a lot of the art assets are actually taken from a certain sprites resources website! They have almost everything there, it's crazy haha
I can't say for sure how long the game will be in total in the final version. It depends on each writers, the players' reading speed, the amount of branching storylines, and a lot of other factors that comes into play when it comes to a VN. The aim is 1 hour for each route, but I can't say that for sure 100%!
I have to say I really loved how different the two personalities were, like day and night – one open and outgoing and the other kind of just socially awkward (so relatable it hurts T.T, whoever wrote that one knew what they were doing).
Akira's moon route felt homey and warm and wholesome and aaah I wanted to melt the whole playthrough, SO comfy. Also, the absolute betrayal in his eyes at the "Does it make you uncomfortable?" part, when you reply with "...". It hurt. A lot.
Akechi's moon route on the other hand was basically just "Sir, please, I'm just the coffee boy I want nothing to do with this," except with more stuttering and being held at gunpoint. Wrong place, wrong time, I guess. MC definitely needed a hug after that event.
A minor inquiry though, how 'deep' are you planning to go with this? A kiss? The dreaded h*nd h*lding before marriage? Maybe nothing of the sort?
Anyway, I hope you continue the development of this project, I had an amazing time clearing all the routes. Looking forward to future updates!

I'm glad that's what you think about Akira's Moon route!! That was exactly my goal when I planned it out and I'm so glad people are into the fluff & comforting situations. Ikr, at first I held back from giving that option (and if you notice I even put a 'way out' just in case the player changes their mind lol) but decisions should have consequences soooo yeah :D

Jokes aside, like most otome games, most routes will probably end after confession scenes. But honestly, it depends to the writers! I can say for sure that the Moon routes for Akira and Goro will follow the conventional way, but I am planning to have epilogue scenes which will vary depending on your choices throughout that route. Can’t say 100% for sure until it’s all written though. I change up my plans sometimes haha

The amount of writers and artists you've all brought together for free is spectacular. Every route is exciting! I winced each time the title screen returned because I didn't want it to stop.

On their own routes, Ren or Akechi, they feel familiar to us, Ren even asked out. Especially on Akechi's route, it surprised me when he said: "I can definitely see you adopting a dog" (and I don't see the option "I don't think I would adopt either.":0000). Is it a surprise for the players? I love that! It makes me feel like they recognize and remember me as the player, in a way.

im not familiar with the persona franchise but this is so well made! im surprised at the level dedication you put into this. i really resonated with the timid mc and the mysterious voice describing it only hammered how i present myself lmao. i dont know his name but i enjoyed this blond dude's route the last time i played this. i remember it starting off with the mc sleeping in a cafe and then suddenly were exercising. i was sad to see him not available yet but the other characters were fun to go through. i really do feel like im actually originally part of the story even thought i know nothing about it lmao

Ah Ryuji! Yes, unfortunately the writer was changed for that route and we want to respect the previous writer's work so we had it scrapped. You should hopefully see him back on our next release!
Oh yes, I definitely wouldn't recommend Akechi's moon route if you're looking for something fluffy like Akira/Ren's moon route haha Akechi isn't a nice character and he's very complex - I'm not sure if you'll like him at all if you haven't played Persona 5 (especially the Royal version). Totally understandable, just skip the route if you don't think you'll enjoy it! :)
I fall in love with joker. Even in Akechi's route, I still fall in love with him.

Ah, this game is so good, thank you so much for making it! The stylization, writing, game OST, it all makes me feel like I'm playing the actual game <3 if there was one thing I would change, and something I think this game desperately needs, is the ability to choose your protagonist's gender ^^; we have all these other customization options I think it would be good to have that as well! And it's incredibly immersion breaking whenever I'm referred to as "they", since that's not how I'm referred to in real life at all, and I like to self insert into these games when I can!! So if you were to change anything about the game, please have it be that, I beg you, haha! At the end of the day though this is just my opinion and I'm not sure how many people share it, but something to keep in mind maybe! Other than that, keep up the great work, this project is great!

Yes, the player customization is very minimal, I know. I wanted to focus on their personality being the main thing that shapes the MC. And also mostly because there's a lot of work being involved in creating other customizations, even for just the pronouns. I am the main scripter (+writer +coder +tester) across most routes, so all the scripting and testing for that will fall onto me, and I just didn't have the bandwith for that. We'll see into incorporating that when we have the time and resources though :
LOVE it! My favourite thing about this is that it's not some visual novel using characters and game setting but instead introduces your character into the main story of persona so it feels like you're part of their lives and the original game's story.

The writing is simply amazing and it makes me really happy that the MC/Y/N is very relatable in both Sun and Moon. The only thing that stings slightly is how in one of the CGs we are able to see "our" hand. A very light skin color- which sort of affects the self insert feeling(?). But that is just me being silly and picky.
I already finished Akira's/Ren's route and Oh my God, you got his character to the T. He is just how I always image. Dependable, trustworthy, flirty, a tease and most importantly... and adorable dork. Both happy endings made me feel so much, especially the first good ending(or was it the second??).

I swear, I can not be the only one that felt that subtle fourth wall break when that alternative universe happened. Because, in reality, we do not exist. In the Persona world, I mean. And it stings. And it is thanks to this fan game that we are able to be part of the experience. For as many times as we want. And Akira/Ren, surely needs that comfort in his life. I wonder if Atlus would ever give us that blessing chance-
Either way, the visual novel is so great so far and as I said at the beginning, it will turn even better and I am can wait for what you guys have in storage for everyone that is an avid fan of the franchise. That was one of the thing one of our writers pointed out actually. Dw, you're not being picky at all! We do want to have a player customization in the future so we can tackle this issue, but trust me when I say it requires a ton of work being done and as of now I don't think we have any resources for that 😥
Sobs I'm always so happy whenever people tell me that I got characterization right! Akira/Ren was so fun to write but sometimes I worry whether I made him too cheeky or too flirty... And it doesn't help that he's a silent protag in the game lol

Akira/Ren's bad ending isn't too bad, it's just... sad. I can describe it to you but tbh there are some things I just can't replicate in words, so I'll skip those I guess. Here goes:

Basically for the bad end, it's implied that Akira/Ren failed to negotiate with Sae and was actually shot in the head by Akechi (like in one of the original game's bad end). So right after the MC tried to visit LeBlanc, the scene cuts out and it's a fast forward to months later. MC is siting in a hospital waiting room, you get some short backstory of how the PT has basically disbanded (very vague implication that some are even dead). Afterwards, they fall asleep and when they wake up, they're in the doctor's room, and you'll see Maruki talking to you. The MC basically breaks down, tells him they can't do this anymore and want to stop the therapy sessions.... And if you guessed it, you're right. He uses his power to alter the reality so the MC won't be sad anymore. So MC wakes up in bed, at night, and sees Akira/Ren sleeping across them, thinks they're having nightmares again, but then as he wakes up they realize that it wasn't a dream. And now MC's convinced that all of it was just a long, bad nightmare, falls asleep against Akira/Ren, and the scene cuts to black....
Lastly, it shows Akira/Ren waking up, sitting on bed and looking around the room, and he even sees Mona across the room, who meowed at him. He then notices the MC being restless in their sleep and only relaxes when he holds them. It's never said in the game itself, but yes, in my head I think he's able to piece things together and understand the situation there. And then:
Akira/Ren: "....."
Akira/Ren: "I'm sorry."
"He's met with silence."
Akira/Ren: "I'm.... so sorry....."

This game is beautifully written; not to mention, I really feel like I’m playing persona 5 sometimes due to the way the assets were implemented. 10/10 immersion points! I played the demo a while back and fell in love with the idea. While I’m sad Ryuji was removed (rip…I know he’s still there don’t worry!) I loved everything new that was included. The characters ooze with personality. There was never a moment that threw me out of the narrative. I never had a “Futaba wouldn’t say that,” Kind of moment. Not only were the boys’ routes fun to play but the phantom thieves were always a pleasure to see. I also believe implementing the phantom points in Akechi’s moon route was clever as gives incentive for the player to care about the choice they make when interacting with the cast. I should probably actually talk about the love interests now, instead of analyzing the game like one would a school project.
I’ll start with the Akechi Moon route.
This route was fun because I questioned the whole time if the writer was going to kill off Akechi or not. While killing Akechi could lead to a beautiful bittersweet ending I’m actually quite happy the good ending let him live. The story allowed me to see a what if scenario where Akechi actually gets to go up against Shido. It might not be a scene that would fit well in the original game, but in this story he grows. It felt like that moment was an accumulation of all the work the player put in. Also the way Akechi acts towards the end of his route feels natural because of the well crafted shift in character. If I had one gripe I’d say that the ending of both the finished routes is kind of abrupt, almost like the last couple lines weren’t written for a conclusion. A minor nitpick really. Honestly though the whole route is so well done. I’m honestly just grateful for the team behind the project. You all are doing outstanding work.
This post is long so I’ll just talk about Akira’s moon route and call it good.
His route was so cute, the author breathed so much life into the protagonist. I understood why he had a harem of girls; he was made extremely charming. The whole Maruki segment of the route was also cool to see. That moment really gave Akira a reason to resist the world. Whereas in the original game he kinda just does/doesn’t. There isn’t to much of a real drive, juxtaposed to here. The Y/N character was also very adorable.I can see why she got the protagonist’s attention. Also, both Akechi and Akira were characters I liked moderately, but the routes made me appreciate them both way more.
Anyways this game is so fun thus far. I can’t wait to play the other routes! Keep up the good work! You guys are amazing!

sldfkjsldf one of the reasons I made this game was because I wanted him to be alive at the end, I don't think you'll ever see any bad endings where he ends up dead even if I decide to add more branches into it haha
YES tbh I struggled a lot with deciding how his route will develop because I wanted to keep him alive and have the chance to redeem himself, but still keep him in character somehow. I think that's partly why his route ended up longer than Akira/Ren's moon route, because you're absolutely correct - I needed the player to see that he's grown, that you had an impact on him, not instantly, but over time.
Let me tell you a secret... The endings were abrupt because I was actually planning to have epilogues lol I couldn't make it to the deadline tho, so I ended up releasing without them, but hopefully I'll be able to add them in sometime!
I hc Akira/Ren having maxed out Charm since his first day lol Yeah I think in the original game the fact that he's a silent & blank slate of a protag, just made for the player to self-insert into his position, can make some developments feel a bit 'huh?'... So I was glad to be able to explore and imagine how his personality is in this fangame heheh

I finally saw that this project was updated, and I'm really impressed with what's been published so far!
I haven't finished Akechi or Akira's moon routes yet but I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far. Akechi's character development in particular is extraordinary! I'm most excited for Yusuke's sun route in particular, since I'm always a sucker for personality clashes. His moon route is also really well done, and definitely a nice reprieve from the drama in the other moon routes lol.
I'm still surprised that two routes are already done, so I just wanted to reiterate how impressed I am by this entire project. This is one of the best VNs I've played in a while c:

Akechi's moon route is my favourite so far. The character development he went through in the good ending is really touching, and I'm so relieved he lives in that ending lol. The MC getting their own persona was such a satisfying moment, and Akechi's 3rd persona fit well into that as well. Normally I'd be more conflicted with a character like Akechi living since he doesn't develop in a way that would make him want to live in the main game. However, I think it does make a lot more sense within the route why he lives, and I'd actually find it less understandable if he did die. The banter with the other phantom thieves in his route is just so much fun as well, especially Futaba, Akira, and Yusuke.
I also realized I never complimented the UI before! It's obviously very similar to Persona 5's, but still very polished and clear to read.
I still haven't finished Akira's route though, so oof :c . I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far though! I'm especially excited and curious for the world route I've heard about lol.

Fair warning, this got a bit long and has no structure to it whatsoever but I really wanted to ramble about Akechi’s moon route since he’s my favourite character and I just love that silly evil little man 😅
Let’s get it started.
Knowing Akechi and all the emotional baggage he carries, I was prepared for his “good” ending to be a “bittersweet at best and depressing at worst” ending, but I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised with how everything turned out; how honest Akechi was, both to himself and to MC, and how he pulled through in the end. He’s come such a long way, I’m proud of him! 😊
Akechi and MC can’t spend valentine's day together–or at least in person–but that’s somehow… okay? Getting better is a long and tiring process so it’s really heartwarming to see the both of them supporting each other while working on being the best versions of themselves they can be.
(At least Akechi didn’t fake his own death like in a certain other ending of a certain other game lol it would’ve been so heartbreaking to have to go through that again, for me anyway, so I’m glad MC got a happier ending than that)
MC’s persona awakening totally caught me off guard. I was expecting something like that to happen in Akira’s moon route actually, seeing as he was the one present for all other awakenings, but I guess it makes sense for Akechi’s route too. Oh and Akechi’s second awakening (during Shido’s boss fight I think?) was awesome too!
Also, I really love how MC is more of a support character with limited offensive capabilities. While Joker and Crow are amazing together with how they can bring carnage to their enemies–as shown in their shared showtime attack–there is something incredibly charming about a man and his dedicated support whom he protects from danger (focus the healer first, right?) on their way to conquer the world (not in a bad way lol)
Umm… Akechi eating his birthday cake(s) gifted to him by the closest person to a friend he’s ever had while crying? Peak character development right there 👆👆 Nah, but seriously, I felt so bad for him there like they were too sweet for him but he was so determined to continue eating 😢 nooo poor baby boy you don’t have to force yourself ;-;
The interactions between the thieves, the teasing, Futaba sending reaction memes in the group chat, Akechi writing an entire paragraph proving his weapon’s superiority over Haru’s axe, the whole “I’m not interested in your BDSM nonsense; and even if I were, it’d be between me and MC” exchange and especially Akira’s “Mmm, spicy” reply I COULD WRITE AN ENTIRE BOOK POINTING OUT MY FAVOURITE SCENES

Sobbb the awakenings!! This was one of the thing I knew I wanted to have in the game and it was such a pain to script in but I personally love how it turned out! Glad people don't find it cringe lol And Akechi's second awakening!! This isn't talked enough haha But I love the idea that he awakened his new persona because essentially it's a sign of his bond with MC and a solid proof that he finally trust MC wholeheartedly. I didn't get to explore this too much in the game, but the idea is that his new persona would be more of a defender than attacker, because it's a manifestation of him acknowledging that for once, he wants to be able to protect the people he cares about ;w;
The birthday cake scene is so important slkdjflskdjf Fun fact, if your affection wasn't enough at that point in time, he'll just throw the cake away ;(

So I just found this on a complete whim but I'm so happy I did. I just got the good ending with Moon Akechi's route as well as one of the bad endings and hoooooo boy my emotions were everywhere! It was so well written it could have easily passed as canon! Bless all of your souls for this. I'm doing the Moon route of Akira/Ren and I started dying when in the second ending (When you're eating curry and drinking hot chocolate at player's house) he says, "love you" and then the music cuts out 😂😭. It was so unexpected, I love it. It made me let out the ugliest laugh I have ever done lol. You guys did so amazing with his route, the writing and art is just so amazing. Okay, first of all, congrats on the release of the beta demo 🎉! It was a long wait, but sooo worth it! When I saw that the Moon routes of Akira and Goro were finished I was like "oh yeah, here's my Christmas gift!" lol.
I played Akira's route first because after what I read on the alpha demo, I needed more! And it didn't disappoint. The MC going to Akira to return his umbrella and that lead to a date it was spectacular! Akira teasing the MC were the best moments while playing his route, and the MC calling him out for that lol! It had soft moments and some angst in the middle, but I was honestly expecting more interactions between MC and the PT, but it was to be expected being Akira's significant other "it's dangerous so I have to leave you in the darkness". And the end, when Akira discovered that MC wasn't real and didn't exist in his world I was like "breaking the fourth wall, I see what you did there" lol. Their reencounter was just so beautiful! I place Akira's route on TOP 2 for now.
Because Goro's route was something else. I was expecting some heavy stuff, but Goro behaved somehow lol. I was surprised to see that he and the MC were "together" for a YEAR. Like, damn. Their moments were just so perfectly written and so well done. I don't remember much from Persona 5 because it's been so long since I played the game, but I know that I have seen Goro at it's BEST in this VN. You did a great job with his character and MC fits so well with the whole plot, even more than in Akira's. But why is Goro TOP 1? Well, of course because MC has such a great character development. And them awakening their Persona????!!! Like, that is soo cool! I was surprised to see that in Goro's route, but it made sense! How their relationship developed after the Persona awakening, Goro and MC's banter, the PT teasing them, AND THE ENDING??? OMG, it's such a masterpiece. While there's no confession or "I love you", it made sense. I love it that it ended in that way, because we know Goro is not ready for that yet.
So yeah, Goro holds the temporary TOP 1 position, unless the other routes win him over, lol!
And...THE WORLD ROUTE!!!!??? When I saw the card there I was like "it can't be!". I'm just thinking over here what kind of route would it be. Harem? Love triangle? Polyamorous? But I KNOW it's going to be amazing, can't wait for it!
The route that I can't wait for is Ann's. Like my girl also needs lots of love. And since my MC is a girl, I just can't wait for them two to just get together and be a power couple. So I just hope that her route is not left behind or overshadowed by Goro's and Akira's, because Ann deserves so much more! Sorry for the rant, lol! I also can't wait for the other routes!
In my honest opinion, I think Moon MC fits much more than Sun MC with the characters. Although I haven't seen much of Sun MC, I know for a fact that Goro's Moon route will always be top, lol. Moon MC awakening their Persona can't get any better lol!

I don't think I've ever worked on a project this long and delivered something that's pretty much 'completed' (or well, at least part of what I'm in charge with is, haha)! Akira being a tease and MC slowly getting used to it (but still getting flustered by it) is just so adorable tbh I wrote those in a very self-indulgent way hahah Overall I'm already satisfied even if people just completed one of the good end, but do check out the other good end and the bad end if you have time! More time with Akira is never a bad thing, yeah? :3
Writing Goro’s route was… so challenging but also so darn fun. I always knew that I wanted the MC to awaken their Persona somehow, but translating that into a VN format was a huge hurdle. Again, I’ve said this somewhere else and it still stands: I’m really proud of this route but at the same time very insecure about it bc I poured my heart into it… And therefore I’m incredibly happy to see people liking it!!
Ah, the World route… Heheh I have been kind of writing the scripts for it, but I still have no idea how the VN will turn out as of now. But I hope people will like it! If things go smoothly it should be different from the Sun/Moon routes in terms of gameplay, so we’ll see how it turns out… Fingers crossed!
I can’t wait to see Ann’s routes too!! I know how capable our writers for Ann’s routes are and I can only imagine the stuff they’ll be able to create for her… I will leave her in their hands, because I know they’ll do her justice :)
The Sun MC will have their own charms for sure! I think they’re currently being kind of overshadowed by the Moon MC because they have 2 completed routes already, but I think there are a lot of potential and things that are possible because they’re the Sun MC!! Again, I don’t really write for the Sun MC but the writers lineup for this route is really promising ;D
Still, I’m relieved people are loving the Moon MC! I was afraid they will get annoyed at them, but it’s nice to hear that people are relating to them and understanding their thinking & course of actions!

I played Ren's Moon route and me and the Protagonist were on the same wavelength. Me too girl - I am also inherently embarrassing and want to pass away at any minor social inconvenience. Oh boy how do I start, this demo is so good that made me doubt that this is a fangame. I'm very surprised how well written this game.
I have a rollercoaster experience when playing demo. The Sun and Moon route is very creative and unique. I love how fleshed out MC's personality is having its own mind and character. Keep it up, it's really interesting to read.
I first played the Moon-Ren route and this route seriously made my heart beating. It was a strange experience how I able to interact Ren since he's a silent protagonist in the OG game. I'm baffled how adorable and smooth this guy is. In the sun route I'm kinda confused with the letter thing in the beginning so it's still haven't left an impression on me.
Ryuji route was cute, but well, the moon route is a bit weird though as someone who didn't know you well suddenly ask you to do stretching in someone else room. But who cares, I find it funny.
Akechi route had me rolling as the game gives you a trigger warning at the beginning. Well, what are you expected to date with this psychopath, amirite (¬‿¬)? That aside, his route is also interesting. Making a yandere story sometimes a hit or miss thing. But I'm having some high hopes for his route since it gives a good start imo.
Overall? Based from the demo, it's a good fangame. My favorite is Moon-Ren route (i love his playful peronality). No wonder this guy has a harem route in the og game. It'll be funny if his route suddenly has a harem thing and then game over.

Moon-Ren has been a blast to write and I really hope people like how cozy it is. I think it basically turned more into a mainly-fluff route, which was what I originally aimed for, but I'm not sure how people will like it ^^' Ah, yeah the Sun route on the other had, is on its very beginning stages, so definitely look forward for more development on that!

For Moon-Akechi, yeah the yandere (and gore) theme will be a hit or miss depending on different people, but I think what we have right now, the 'yandere' is mostly implied? So it should be mostly ok for most people. Although I plan on expanding more on it in future releases *evil laugh*

Whether there will be a path for the MC to become one of the Phantom Thieves will depend on the writers in charge of that route, so unfortunately I can't promise 100% you'll be able to do that... BUT with that being said, we'll probably provide a walkthrough for any completed routes in the future, so dw about not being able to 'fully complete' the game or anything like that!

I did not play through all of the routes but for what I saw so far, I'd love to see more of this game! The writing and style is on point, it's really amazing what you guys created! Can't wait to see where this goes <3

In general I found this otome to be pretty entertaining despite it being only the alpha. Like many others before me have said already its very much so appreciated for the personality changes between the sun and moon arcana as I find it interesting to see how the dynamic shifts between the characters and the mc depending on which arcana is chosen. (And they so far feel all in character so mad probs to you) Oh yeah another appreciated aspect is having the option to choose whether to use Akira or Ren since different people prefer either one over the other (personally like Ren Amamiya because my mind immediately reads it as Ren Mamamiya and I can't help but chuckle)
Now to get into the specific routes themselves from the order I played them (I'll prolly write more when this gets updated):
So in conclusion I liked it and I look forward to updates (particularly the Moon Ryuji route and Sun Akechi route those were fun) but I also want to mention to be sure to not overload yourself on this and to balance like the scales in the Justice Arcana.

Ngl at first the Moon/Sun arcana was actually just an excuse for me to write more P5 content but I'm so happy people appreciate having the option hehe I'm really glad you think everyone is in character so far, that makes me so happy!!! Ahh I see! I personally am used to Akira but Ren is such a nice name, so I thought hey, why not just let ppl choose what they like? :D

Akira/Ren (Moon route): omg YES the 'homey' and 'cozy' feel is what I wanted for this route and I'm so glad the player are getting this vibe too. And you're ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, there's gonna be lots of fluff. A sprinkle of angst might be there, but I PROMISE there'll be more fluff to top that.
The bad end though.... Uh. Uhhhhhh... There's no other way to put this, so I'll just say it....... I want it to hurt c:
... LOL is that a bad thing to say? It might be, but angst feels SO GOOD when the journey there is a paved flowery road and it's bundled & wrapped oh so nicely in a colorful wrapping paper.... You know? You feel me? Am I weird? Maybe I am weird woopsies sorry guys you're stuck with me :p
Akechi (Moon route): ohhh you managed to do it well on your first playthrough?! That's awesome! Keep that attitude! If things goes as planned, this route will have specific sets of requirements to reach the good end, soooo yeah.... Look forward to that :D
Ryuji (Moon route): the first time I scripted in the knife scene it threw me off too, but seeing it plays out, it's definitely so Ryuji hahah Poor Akira/Ren is just there like 'uhhh wyd in my room?' XD
Akira/Ren (Sun route): Aaaaa you noticed the doodles!!! Yays!! Since he doodled in the calendar in the original game I thought it would be a nice addition if he does that too here! As of now the choices for paper and handwriting doesn't really affect the story, but I just thought it would be nice if the player's personality can shine through those ^^
Akechi (Sun route): Detective Princess Ecchi heheheh omg sometimes I feel like I went a little too crazy on this first scene but I'm glad people took it positively lol

Hahaha I kinda get it with the angst thing. Its like eating spicy food (ones filled with peppercorn, and chilli). It hurts but its also reaally good when prepared a certain way. (or maybe I'm just a masochist lol) And yes I did play through all the routes (I am somewhat of a completionist)
I had SO much fun playing this! I really hope you can keep this going bc I'd live the full thing (esp bc I'm a Yusuke simp and I need that route LOL!!) . I love Persona 5 and this is such a great nostalgia trip and makes me miss teh game so much (but I LOVE the idea of an otome for it bc, hehehee) . I'll be sharing it with as many people as I can so hopefully you get more love for this bc it's such a wonderful idea and the demo is so great so far! Very intrigued for more!!

I loved playing this and all routes (including Akechi's creepy Moon path, but especially Akira's! It felt really organic). The whole thing is such a good idea. I wish we could choose our velvet room attendant like in Persona's 3 female MC side, just for a bit of flavor text. I have no idea how you implemented the graphics so well but they look as good as in the game. I'm curious about how long this will be in the final version.

Akira's route is by far my most favorite too, but I'm probably biased and there's also the fact that the other routes aren't as fleshed out yet as of now lol
That's an interesting idea, but I don't know how it would affect the game necessarily, since the Velvet Room doesn't really appear after character selection. We'll see!
The sprites and a lot of the art assets are actually taken from a certain sprites resources website! They have almost everything there, it's crazy haha
I can't say for sure how long the game will be in total in the final version. It depends on each writers, the players' reading speed, the amount of branching storylines, and a lot of other factors that comes into play when it comes to a VN. The aim is 1 hour for each route, but I can't say that for sure 100%!
I have to say I really loved how different the two personalities were, like day and night – one open and outgoing and the other kind of just socially awkward (so relatable it hurts T.T, whoever wrote that one knew what they were doing).
Akira's moon route felt homey and warm and wholesome and aaah I wanted to melt the whole playthrough, SO comfy. Also, the absolute betrayal in his eyes at the "Does it make you uncomfortable?" part, when you reply with "...". It hurt. A lot.
Akechi's moon route on the other hand was basically just "Sir, please, I'm just the coffee boy I want nothing to do with this," except with more stuttering and being held at gunpoint. Wrong place, wrong time, I guess. MC definitely needed a hug after that event.
A minor inquiry though, how 'deep' are you planning to go with this? A kiss? The dreaded h*nd h*lding before marriage? Maybe nothing of the sort?
Anyway, I hope you continue the development of this project, I had an amazing time clearing all the routes. Looking forward to future updates!

I'm glad that's what you think about Akira's Moon route!! That was exactly my goal when I planned it out and I'm so glad people are into the fluff & comforting situations. Ikr, at first I held back from giving that option (and if you notice I even put a 'way out' just in case the player changes their mind lol) but decisions should have consequences soooo yeah :D
"Wrong place, wrong time" is the perfect summary for the start of that route... Still, the worst first meeting sometimes turns out for the best, amirite? ;)

Jokes aside, like most otome games, most routes will probably end after confession scenes. But honestly, it depends to the writers! I can say for sure that the Moon routes for Akira and Goro will follow the conventional way, but I am planning to have epilogue scenes which will vary depending on your choices throughout that route. Can’t say 100% for sure until it’s all written though. I change up my plans sometimes haha

This is... wow. WOW. I love this fandom so much, and to see it all come to life in an otome? I really do hope that you're able to continue this project, I'd be open to donating monthly on pateron and everything. This is awesome! The amount of writers and artists you've all brought together for free is spectacular. Every route is exciting! I winced each time the title screen returned because I didn't want it to stop.
