I have recently played this game, and I chose my dear Todoroki ^^. Making a game in Ren'Py is really hard and complicated (for me), but for some I asked told me otherwise. The writing is execeptional, it's almost like an official Otome game from Japan! The characters weren't OOC (Out-Of-Character) and the visuals? Very clean and smooth to the eye!
Again, Ren'Py is very complicated with the codes (at first but once you get the hang of it, it doesn't actually do!). This game was a success even at the demo! I'm hoping to play through more and support the game! Kudos to you fellow Developer!
If you're using Chromebook you can try to download the Android file and run it. I'm not sure if all Chromebook supports Android apps though. Sorry I can't help much.

I don't fluently speak Japanese but I can read hiragana, katakana, basic kanji characters, and I am studying for JLPT N3 in my spare time. I have also played through several Japanese otome games just fine, with some help here and there for kanji words I don't recognize.
Hence, I'm pretty sure Watashi (私) is a more formal / gender neutral version of Boku (僕), which is in the original title, Boku no Hero Academia.
So unless you're saying that Horikoshi himself made a grammatically incorrect title (because all I did was replace the subject "I" with another version of "I"), I don't think I did anything wrong.
But hey, you provide me a solid material that explains why I'm wrong, and let's discuss.

Hmmm I can only specify one set of source files for this game, so it would mean the itch.io app uses the same files as the one displayed on the Web. I think if you can install and play the file downloaded from itch.io app, then it's not the source file's problem.
I've tried to download and play using Mac and PC, and it looks ok. So I guess it's something like the antivirus, pc setup, browser setup, internet provider security, or itch.io itself has a problem? Idk haha.
It depends on what kind of game you want to make. This specific game was made by Ren'Py. It's an easy way to get started if you want a visual novel game. But if you want to create other type of games, you can try to Google around. Unity and Unreal Engine are pretty popular.

ikr! most things have bakugo all soft, todoroki stuttering, midoriya being weak and extra soft, ect. they got their characters spot on!!
